A visually rich card deck to help kids ages 5-10 explore and practice over 50 regulation tools and strategies at home, in school, or in therapeutic and community settings. The two-sided tool cards are divided into 5 categories to empower kids to make choices toward figuring out what tools works best for them. Each tool card displays a visual graphic on one side that illustrates how to use the tool and, on the reverse, describes concrete steps for using the tool effectively as well as a self-reflection on the tool's impact. Tools to Try Cards for Kids is a kid-friendly, multi-sensory resource designed for use with The Zones of Regulation curriculum and other Zones products.

Each strategy card displays an illustration of the regulation tool with engaging characters on one side and a how-to-do-it description on the reverse. Each card includes a metacognitive self-reflection where kids consider how they feel after using the tool and how it can be used to help them regulate their Zones.

This hands-on metacognitive strategy deck supplements The Zones of Regulation curriculum and pairs well with Navigating The Zones cooperative game and its supplemental Advanced Pack for additional levels of play.
